Ms M Holder, Maidstone tells us that her greyhound Frankie is nearly 12 years old and, therefore, not a good candidate for anaesthetic for a dental treatment. After 8 weeks she notes less plaque, less redness of the gums and an improvement in his breath.Mrs M Knight, whose cat Jessie is 7, tells us that her cat’s teeth were “…in poor [condition] and the vet had recommended that Jessie had the plaque removed surgically…”. After just a month Jessie was taken for a routine visit to the vet who “…upon examination it appeared her teeth had improved so much that surgery to remove plaque was no longer necessary…”.
